While in a perfect world, I agree, you're right.  But then look at MS and
their domination of the OS market.  Sometimes first is better.  Nothing
that I don't think we can't overcome, but getting our name recognition is
important.  The longer we wait, the more intrenched the others become.
This is Chris's main worry I think.
