GtkPlot vs. Guppi

Hi,

I heard that you're planning on using guppi as a bonobo component, and I
wanted to know if you want me to scrap the work i've done on making it
work with GtkPlot and start playing with guppi.

GtkPlot is actually quite nice, it does 2 dimentional functions and
datasets. I already have it (sort of) working on the canvas. I don't know
anything about bonobo, but I would assume that the components are designed
to go on a canvas, which would fit into my architecture WAY better than
GtkPlot. Does guppi do 3d plots? I am very proud of my 3d plotting widget
and dont want to scrap that :(.

Anyway, miguel has made me a CVS account, so I will be commiting stuff to
the canvas/ directory as I work on it. It would be very helpful if any of
you want to contribute design ideas for the canvas, and I'll be open to
any suggestions at this stage (before the whole thing is implemented).
