Greetings,

	Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas.  I was out of town spending it with
family (had a great one) and thus my delayed responses to the discussions going on
here.

1) Next IRC meet... how does Tuesday 10:00 EST sound?  If thats OK, I'll go ahead
and invite Cheek.

2) Dr. Tux.  I think it's important to have some type of Mascott.  My personal
favorite is Dr. Tux and I'm sure Dan could contact the author of the version on lpr
to reach some kind of decision on how he should be representd... but the Penguin
under the tree would be OK by me if the group decides they like that better.  The
Mascott will become more of a brand for the site on down the road.  I don't think
it's childish if used in the correct manner.

3) Alot of Perl/DBI discussion.  I'm not yet real familiar with either... where are
you guys going for all your info on this?

4) PHP/HT://dig updates...  great.  I'll get on the PHP thing.  Hoping someone else
will maintain the ht://dig thing... if ya need a directory/permissions/whatever...
set up to allow it, let me know.  Or if you'd prefer I handle it, let me know...
I'm not sure what it takes to get it going, so if I'm underestimating, tell me and
I'll look at it.

5) Micah having CVS probs?  Are you still having those Micah?  Dan... could you
give a hand if so or did you alreadywork it out with him?

6) Cheek - a tad annoying.  Seems like ever since I had that phone conversation
with him he's on a "marketing blitz".  Which kind of bothers me since he knows
there's another project under way... if I were him and I would be doing the right
thing I would be holding off until I knew where all projects I knew of stood.  But
I'll reserve judgment until after the next IRC meet.
