Status update

Two things:
1) Is there anything I can do to help someone? I know Perl pretty well,
and I've got a full printout of the PHP manual. Willing to learn it if
necessary.
2) Chris is asking for a status update. What do people want me to tell
him. I know he's kinda getting worried about us, not only because does
development seem to be going slowly, but because there's been a lot of
"KB"'s announced recently. If we want to be big we need to get out in the
public eye reasonable soon.
