How to find almost 500 potential people to write articles or becontent maintainers

Anyone else hear of the justlinux.com portal?  It's actually pretty nice.
One thing they have is a "User Registry".

Currently 438 people have listed themselves as "Technical Support".

I definately have mixed feelings about spamming 438 people.  I mean, these
people listed themseves in the registry so they can be found and
contacted, right?  Still I abhor spam, even for a good cause.

Let the flames begin...
