In your symbol you are using pinnumbers and pinlabels. You have made
the pinnumbers
invisible and the pinlabels visible. When you change slots the
pinnumbers change not
the pinlabels. You can't see the pinnumbers changing since they are invisible!

For a symbol like this remove the pinlabels and make the pinnumbers visible.
