gEDA-user: Questions on downloading and installing gnucap and gwave

I posted a question on the fedora forum asking how to install an app,
gwave, downloaded from SourceForge.

This is one of the responces:

also i just looked at the code and seeing as it is so old it needs a
full rewright to compile in gcc 4.1
it may compile in gcc 3.2 ??? but i would not hold my breath .

Does anyone use audacity?
