This isn't an official release / snapshot, but I ran make distcheck in
my clean CVS checkout, and have put the resulting pcb-1.99v.tar.gz
online at:
http://www2.eng.cam.ac.uk/~pcjc2/geda/pcb-1.99v.tar.gz
I'm not sure if I'll leave that up too long, but if it helps you - by
all means grab a copy. It should have the docs / library pre-built so
you ought not to need --enable-maintainer-mode or --disable-docs when
building it. (I've not checked though)
