gEDA-user: Is there a way to drag select within a poly in PCB?

If I'm working "over" a polygon or polygons and I want to drag select,
is there any way to do that short of starting the drag outside the polys?
I suppose I could move the polys to another grouped layer and then turn
them off, but I'd rather just be able to 'lock polygons' and avoid them
for all sorts of things like deleting, moving, selecting...
