gEDA-user: Footprint preview in gschem or gattrib

Hi, it would be nice to have a preview for the footprints in the attribute window of gschem or in gattrib. At the moment I switch everytime between pcb and gschem to find the right footprint for the component. For often used components you know the best footprint after some time, but for less used components it would be a big help.
This would perhaps fit better in gattrib, because to use the preview effective there has to be a chooser for the footprint like in pcb.
What's your opinion about this?
