but don't fall for the trap of a zero-cost restricted 
proprietary one.  Such things are a serious threat to the 
existence of truly free software.

The big bucks packages would not exist if not for their high 
price tag, which brings the needed financial support.  Some of 
them even fund true free/open-source.
