hey, just for that I need to get around to sending in some "doesn't 
build on solaris" bug reports :)  Actually, I'm only kidding about the 
"just for that" part.  I think I saw some build failures on solaris 
recently but haven't had the chance to give a decent bug report.


This is the 20061009 snapshot:

so I just commented out the stdint lines in the top level .h files. 
Obviously there should be some check.
