FYI my lesstif key mapping is:

    {"Clear Object =10 mil" a={"K" "<Key>k"} ChangeClearSize(Object,=10,mil)}

So, *my* 'k' key sets the mask to be 10 mil, which I think means
"bigger than the object".  The whole clearance/mask combo thing is
confusing.
