I tried to install gEDA/gaf on Windows - the Cygwin way, but had a
problem, which I fixed. The webpage says:

Step 4

$ make open

Make install

The make install gave errors:

( cd geda-symbols-1.4.0; \

        ./configure --prefix=/cygdrive/c/Documents and
Settings/ramans/geda --with-xdgdatadir=/cygdrive/c/Documents and
Settings/ramans/.local/share --with-kdedatadir=/cygdrive/c/Documents and
Settings/ramans/.kde/share --disable-stroke )

So I did make reconfig, which worked, with warnings, and then make
install, which ran much better. The web page needs an update to say

Make oen

Make reconfig

Make install
