If that is what I wanted, that is what I would have said. I didn't say
that because it would be short sighted, as is any single translator, or
any one-way translator system based on any single format or program.
I put a lot of work into this over the past year, trying to come up with
a long term solution that will help everyone. It is looking good so
far, to me. Now it is time to get someone else involved, to make sure
it really is portable. My intent is absolutely NOT to make it gnucap
centric, but rather make a system that gnucap and others can use. The
fact that I used gnucap as the place to prototype should not be a
turnoff.
I am thinking as much about tools we don't have yet as tools we do have.
The list of tools we don't have is much bigger.
