I'm using

    -y dir-path

in the command file to add to the library module search path after using 
an external tool to locate module definitions in  specific 
subdirectories of

   $(DV_ROOT)/libs

The problem is that such a subdirectory will often contain Verilog files 
that each contain multiple module definitions. In such a case, it is 
unclear to me how Icarus Verilog elaboration will find a module 
definition. The iverilog man page states that "library module files 
should contain only a single module, but this is not a requirement."

Synopsys VCS can supposedly elaborate this chip as is. Am I using Icarus 
Verilog incorrectly?
