There is an example in the regression test suite which might answer
your question.  Look at the source under:

Input schematic:
${SOURCE}/gnetlist/tests/spice-sdb/outputs/SlottedOpamps.sch

Output netlist:
${SOURCE}/gnetlist/tests/spice-sdb/outputs/SlottedOpamps-output.net

Does this clarify the intended behavior?
