There aren't any changes as yet... just notes on the API. (Given enough
time, there might be changes ;)

It wasn't intended to affect them in any way, just to provide a
condensed API for accessing them. (There is a lot of duplication at the
moment).

They are both good points to bear in mind when regression testing the
any new API though. (If it is eventually coded.)
