application seemed like it might fit, but we would also qualify for
text.
x-.... types cannot (by definition) be registered, and I was more
thinking about getting stuff associated "auto-magically" in future
distro-desktops. I'm not sure how / if its possible to get distros to
ship such unofficial extension mime-types. (I'm not sure if we can
register them into the shared mime listings at program install either).
