No shielding is actually counter productive since you would be telling
the new user to file their complaint, themselves into the blackhole.
After all do we care if the new user's information is lost along with
their complaint over if they get fried by space radiation while just
loosing the information of their complaint?

In reality we do. We would like happy window users too (at least with
geda). The question is how do we seperate out the geda window
implementation issues from standard geda user issues?

How about a mail list server specifically for windows users one that the
windows developer is part of. When they spot a general issue they then
encourage the cross posting of the issue to the standard users list
server. The faq for the standard list server should state that general
windows questions should be posted in the windows list server.

Similarily if there is a bugzilla have a seperate bugzilla for the
windows distribution.
