My (slight) worry is that gschem & friends don't behave like Windows programs,
and making Windows builds will mean lots of people who are used to the way
Windows programs behave will try them out. They will then come to the lists
and complain about it, or worse, post on some tech site about how
horrifically mind-bogglingly user-unfriendly gEDA is and how it should be
avoided like the plague. They'd be wrong, of course.
