In no way have you caused any havoc. Please, pick something you want to
work on and have fun with it. 

In case you have't noticed there is a bit of a clash of ideas on interal
data structures. 

I am interested in an independent comparison of spice and gnucap as well
as other simulation and analysis tools.

The concept of plugins for gnucap seems to me to be an opportunity for a
plugin which incorporates libgeda as a means of importing gaf schematics
into gnucap. Would it be possible to do some thing similar with  respect
to pcb (build a library from the pcb code and then a plugin that uses
that library to parse pcb files). Both of these actions really only have
value if the API to the respective library becomes stable.

Again Darrell most of all I suggest you have fun and if the havoc seems
to be too confusing, two of the voices here that consistently provide
calm well reasoned experienced based advice are DJ and Stuart Brorson.
