Its a possibility, true I guess try it and see - rather than worrying it
might be slow.

I'd intended that the "preview mode / hid preview" would not require you
to close / re-open PCB for each new preview. I guess via actions, this
could be true of the png method.

I really dislike temp files where I might be able to avoid them!

Oh, and having an external library browsing program (or just PCB called
with appropriate flags) is still on my wish-list for "integration".
(Integration via separation :))
