FWIW, we had a private discussion up here in Boston amongst the Free
Doggers about getting some students under the Google Summer of Code
program. We have some available mentors, but none of us have
contacts at the undergrad level. The discussion seems to have petered
out.

Ideally, we'd hook up with a professor who could be the primary
point of contact. I wouldn't mind mentoring, supervising, pushing
papers, etc, but having a professor as the figurehead would look best
on the application.

Boston area students: If you are interested in getting involved in
gEDA under the Summer of Code program, please speak up. Boston area
professors -- Same deal. Contact me off list at sdb (AT) cloud9 (dot)
net.
