The first patch wasn't applied as-is, it was applied with some tweaks I
think. But - if you got CVS fresh today, and the patch I saw in CVS is
indeed the first x_dialog.c patch, I'm very confused.
Could it be your CVS checkout has some sticky revision tag or something,
and isn't actually HEAD?
cvs rdiff -r HEAD geda/gaf
For me produces no delta against HEAD. (As my checkout is still clean).
Applying your patch with:
patch -p1 --dry-run < /home/pcjc2/gattrib_xdialog_overhaul.diff
it fails, Same way as for Carlos.
Are you applying it with "patch", or a more intelligent tool which can
work around the white-space changes rather than failing a hunk?
I'll join #geda if you're about now.
