I'd appreciate some sort of feedback on this, even if said feedback is, "That 
is the stupidest idea I've heard since I started hacking on gEDA.  Go clean 
your mouth out with soap."

Also, I have a whole bunch of patches here for removing Guile functions 
deprecated in 2.8.x, so I need some sort of decisions to happen soon, please.
