Arrggh.  I just re-read this whole thread again and now I'm reconsidering
some of the items on this list of acceptable changes.

Certainly the existing dialog mixes various dialog behavior metaphores.
I'm just not sure how to fix/change it without annoying users who are
happy with the existing behavior.
