gEDA-dev: Component selector dialog

I've moved this discussion over to the dev list.

This discussion about the component selection dialog has been interesting
and it hsa shown that everybody has a (or N) different opinion.

If you want to make a change to this dialog box, submit a patch (yes
that means post a patch, do not just push it to master) and you better
have a strong agrument why you are suggesting the change(s).

Yes, show me the code (patch).  Otherwise this discussion will never
end and/or every developer that comes along will change it their liking
(ie patch wars).  I'd really like to avoid that.
