After the release, it would be nice to get some of the no-screen changes
merged into CVS head. The changes in the noscreen branch of CVS clean up
many things, and aren't too invasive. (Everything should still work!). I
think merging noscreen with head changes, then merging back to head
should help keep everything in sync and allow more development to
proceed with fewer merge headaches.

I'm "hoping" to be in a better position with the changes I have in git,
and as patches waiting to fix + apply in git, before the code sprint.
The remaining stuff mostly deals with the distinction between
world_get_..._bounds(), o_..._recalc(), and caching (now world
coordinates).

I agree that working on code during these occasions is difficult, but
gathering together gives us an excellent opportunity to discuss
architecture and design. (I have at least one, if not two outstanding
issues I want to discuss.)
