OK, I made some changes to spice-sdb which should (finally) fix this
bug.  Please grab the latest stuff out of CVS and try it out.

GEDA developers, I would appreciate it if others would also grab the
latest stuff and test spice-sdb.  It has been broken for a couple of
months (after the change to guile-1.8) and I have made some mods which
should fix it.   I would very much like to hear test reports from both
people running guile-1.6.X as well as guile-1.8.X to make sure that my
fix works for both.
