gEDA-dev: gdlib required for gEDA/gaf?

I just installed libgd to accomodate building pcb. I was just asking
because I had never seen libgd as a gEDA/gaf dependency before. I was
a little suprised!
As for keeping/removing it, I don't have a strong opinion. Fewer
dependencies are always better, but if it's required for PCB, then it
doesn't hurt that gEDA/gaf uses it also.
Better would be if both PCB and gEDA/gaf got rid of libgd. :-)
