gEDA-dev: Drawing fixes for compositing

I just debugged and pushed the fixes for drawing with composited
desktops. It should work with libstroke now (the gesture support is
actually quite cool, but I guess not many people will have used it?)

Please test, and report all drawing regressions. (CC me directly, as
well as the list).
