VMware tools should be publicly available and is included with VMWare
server as well. I've stopped using VMWare player.
I thought the display for new VMs defaulted to a max 1024x768 without
VMWare tools, although the free server limits you to 1024x768 even if
you install the tools.
Has anyone else read the notes on Linux 2.6.21? Am I correct in
thinking that A) effectively VMWare has opensourced the VMWare tools
interface, B) linux's KVM and VMWare will share the same interface,
and C) Linux 2.6.21 just included the kernel part of the VMWare tools
into itself?
