You could do this by attached attributes referring to instance 1 thru 4 of a module,
which can be found using attribs in its symbol.  No extra file necessary...
And it would work well with Cadence style hierarchies of modules in dirs with many views,
(.sch .sym .mech .vhdl  .verilog-ams .verilog etc.), in each dir...
