As a further weakness in my continual battle against the dark side
(large multi-feature patches), the "move" patch also re-moves the
remaining file-select code which is made redundant by the dropping of
pre GTK2.4.

Hope this is not too frowned upon, as it will be a pain for me to do
otherwise now.
