I'm never in favor of rewriting history through cvs admin commands 
except in cases where a commit message was messed up and needs correcting.

This reminds me... I wonder if we should give up always updating 
ChangeLog and instead use cvs2cl.pl  periodically instead.  Or maybe 
there could even be something automatic put in place.  Maybe pcb users 
disagree, but what I've been doing is running cvs2cl.pl right before 
making a snapshot release but otherwise not worrying about ChangeLog.

At least in terms of written english, I think you could easily pass as a 
native speaker!
