I don't have a report saying if they do / don't work out of the box, but
certainly solaris should build, and there is an item in the NEWS file
which lists: "MacOSX build fixes" for the 0.94 release.

I've posted to the DBus mailing list asking about portability so far,
we'll see what they say.
