gEDA-dev: PCB seg faults

In using the latest PCB I found a repeatable crash when using buffer convert to
element. No other steps of using the buffer had problems, and this is only
since a recent cvs version since 3 days ago and also with the latest in cvs today.

Buffer convert to element is normal function when I compile the
pcb-20060822-RELEASE.

Another place I can get a repeatable crash is if I close the window that comes
up when you use the n key binding to show the number of a pin of a placed
footprint. This one goes farther back than the last release, since compiling
the pcb-20060822-RELEASE version still does that one.

The gcc version I used to compile is gcc (GCC) 3.3.6 (Debian 1:3.3.6-13)
and...

automake1.9 1.9.6-5
autoconf 2.60-1

./configure ends like:

config.status: creating win32/Makefile
config.status: creating config.h
config.status: executing depfiles commands

** Configuration summary for pcb 1.99u:

Ask me for any other clues...

Is there any other recent sortof release besides pcb-20060822-RELEASE?

Thanks,

John Griessen
