I found a thread from March 2006 where somebody was about to start
adding support for blind and buried vias to PCB. Since then I haven't
seen anything.
Has the gEDA cabal decided on a plan yet? Or is it still bully for us
if we want them? :) My interest is only as a armchair free software
evangelist, and at work we will soon be laying out a board that
absolutely has to have blind if not buried vias. (No signals are
allowed to be accessible from the back side of the board; the board will
be a pwr/gnd | snake | signalstuff^N | snake | gnd/pwr sandwich.) It
would be nice to be able to show my colleagues some nifty multilayer
boards with BGAs and be able to say something other than "No, PCB does
not support blind/buried vias" if they ask.

Q: Why does this scheme have so many keys?
A: We added them as the need arose.
