Problems are ongoing. However, I've abused my webspace at the Engineering
department to bring you a workable version of the repository (no nice web
interface yet, sorry). Please avoid hammering it or I'll get my wrist
slapped.

I recommend installing git with the 'cogito' frontend. On my system, to do so
I ran 'yum install cogito'.

Then, to download the history for CVS HEAD:

  cg-clone http://www2.eng.cam.ac.uk/~ptbb2/geda/gaf.git/ \
    /path/to/repo

The various CVS branches are also available. A list of the active branch
names is at http://www2.eng.cam.ac.uk/~ptbb2/geda/gaf.git/refs/heads/. To
check out a specific CVS branch, make sure you've got a "master" checked out
as above and you're working directory is /path/to/repo, then do:

  cg-branch-add <name> 'http://www2.eng.cam.ac.uk/~ptbb2/geda/gaf.git/#<name>'
  cg-fetch <name>

The 'cg-status' command will then show you the available branches,
and 'cg-seek' will let you look at them.

Please try it out. I will attempt to answer any questions.

Peter
