gEDA-dev: Another verilog simulator

A friend recently pointed me to Cver (its under GPL),

+ Has anyone had any experiance with it ?
+ Any reason why its not listed on the gEDA tools page [1] ? 
+ Has anyone from gEDA contacted them to share in further work ?
