Initial Comment:
If you set the option 'Snap Grid Spacing' to zero, gschem stops with the following error in GDB:

 Program received signal SIGFPE, Arithmetic exception.
 [Switching to Thread 1083656096 (LWP 30092)]
 0x40034d2d in snap_grid (toplevel=0x0, input=962) at m_basic.c:220
 220     m_basic.c

The error is reproducable 
gschem version: 1.5.0.20080127.
