Summary: gschem: Component dialog buttons are confusing

Initial Comment:
Currently, the component dialog has three buttons on the bottom row:

- OK
- Apply
- Close

It isn't immediately obvious what the 'OK' and 'Apply' buttons do, and ideally their captions should be changed to make it a little clearer.

One possibility would be:

- OK --> "Hide & Place"
- Apply --> "Place"

However, there is no consensus on the best captioning or behaviour of the buttons, and the last attempt to discuss it on the lists provoked an extended discussion.
