Initial Comment:
This occurs on Intel Mac OS X 10.4.10 using the 1.0.1-20070626 snapshot.

Attempting to open a previously-created schematic file causes the segfault.  Starting gschem with an existing file as a command-line parameter causes the same segfault.  Attempting to save a new file also causes the segfault.
