Initial Comment:
The error message output of gsymcheck should include
filenames and line numbers of offending source file
records.  Example:

 gsymcheck proj_1.sch
 proj_1.sym:7 ERROR: Missing device= attribute
 proj_1.sym:12 ERROR: Invalid pintype=unknown attribute
 2 ERRORS found
