Este reporte trata del último par de días, en el que ha habido un desarrollo
bastante intenso.

Tomamos en cuenta todas las sugerencias para webmail ofrecidas en seul/edu,
pero IMHO parece estar hecho a la medida de nuestro sistema: es un módulo de
Roxen, mismo que usamos, muy fácil de instalar, por lo que fue sencillo
integrarlo en nuestro rpm redesc-httpd, y en el idioma español. Tuve que
actualizar la traducción al español a la última versión de IMHO, pero no
tomó mucho tiempo.

Liberamos ahora la nueva version: 1.0-13, que contiene refinamientos en la
configuración de sendmail y Samba, para hacerlos un poco más útiles.
También, una actualización de Roxen, debido a que ahora incluimos IMHO, que
requiere Roxen 1.3.122. Quitamos muchos rpms de documentación, haciendo de
la instalación un proceso más rápido, y reduciendo el tamaño de la imagen
ISO por otros 50 Mb (296 en total). Finalmente, también incluimos el sistema
de floppy complementario, para facilitar el parche de la configuración
default del proceso kickstart.

La semana que entra nos vamos de gira a Tlaxcala, Jalisco y Sinaloa, para
dar demos a estos estados interesados. Estamos seguros de que los vamos a
convencer, pero aun asi, deseenos suerte.

This report talks about the last couple of days, where lots of intensive
development took place.

We investigated all the webmail suggestions made at seul/edu, but IMHO seems
to be tailored specially for our system: it is a Roxen module, the web
server that we use, it is very easy to install, which made it simple to
integrate to our redesc-httpd rpm, and it comes in Spanish. I had to update
the Spanish translation to the latest IMHO version, but it didn't take long.

Now we release the latest version: 1.0-13, which contains some refinements
to the sendmail and Samba configurations, to make them a little bit more
useful. Also, a Roxen update, because we now include IMHO, which requires
Roxen 1.3.122. We chopped a lot of documentation rpms, making the
installation a little bit faster, and reducing the ISO image size by another
50 Mb (296, total). Finally, we also included the complementary floppy
system, to ease the patching process for the default kickstart configuration.

Next week, we will go on tour to Tlaxcala, Jalisco and Sinaloa, to give
demonstrations to these interested states. We are sure that we are going to
convince them but, either way, wish us luck.
