PySDL2 0.6.0 has been released. PySDL2 is a wrapper around the SDL2 library and as such similar to the discontinued PySDL project. In contrast to PySDL, it has no licensing restrictions, nor does it rely on C code, but uses ctypes instead. Version 0.6.0 is a bugfix release, which provides the following changes * a new sdl2.ext.FontManager.size attribute, which gives a default size to be used for adding fonts or rendering text * updates to the sdl2 module to include the latest changes of SDL2 * sdl2.ext.RenderContext.copy() accepts any 4-value sequence as source or destination rectangle now * throw an ImportError instead of a RuntimeError, if a third-party DLL could not be imported properly * fixed a bug in the installation code, which caused sdl2.examples not to install the required resources You can download it from http://bitbucket.org/marcusva/py-sdl2/downloads. The documentation, listing all of its features, can be browsed online at http://pysdl2.readthedocs.org/. Cheers Marcus
