Try changing lines 92 & 93 to read:
if hasattr(mmap, 'MAP_SHARED'):
self._data = mmap.mmap(self._fileno, len, mmap.MAP_SHARED,
mmap.PROT_READ)
else:
self._data = mmap.mmap(self._fileno, len, None, mmap.ACCESS_READ)
