Hello,
I don't have vista to test either... Does anyone know how to get
cheap/free non pirated versions of Vista for pygame development?
I think it's likely a newer SDL will solve any problems you have. So
when the next pygame rc release comes out (probably in a week or so),
then try and get it tested on vista some how. Or try compiling pygame
yourself.
Cheers,

I know I'm arriving late to the party, but just as my current project was nearing completion, I
got my first bug report on Windows Vista. I don't have access to Vista, personally.
I did google the net for a few hours, including Pygame-Users archive, and the pygame docs, but I
didn't find a definitive statement about pygame's compatibility under Vista.
I'm using Pygame 1.7.1 (windows binary installer) with Python 2.4. The bug mentions 'display size
not found'. My game runs in 800x600x32, which is fairly standard. I'm wrapping the app into a
setup.exe with inno.
I'm hoping to find out how to make my game work under Windows Vista.
