I'd like to register my vote for distributing source instead of this; frequently someone who has developed for Windows has certain Windows-isms in their code that I need to edit out in order to run their program. And (at least with py2exe) I've seen a huge increase in size from just pure source distributions. Of course source availability is always a good thing for users (or at worst a neutral thing). If you were going to package your game for Linux using PyInstaller and also shipped a tarball of source, that would be even better. On the other hand, business constraints may prevent this. Ethan
